After training in Art History, I worked as a curator and museum administrator in the early part of my career.  Later, as my professional life turned to non-profit management and fund raising, I maintained an art practice as a way to nurture a creative life.  Eventually that creative focus became my occupation, and I now maintain a studio in Accord, New York.

The rural setting has become the principal inspiration for my practice, and at times, a source of material. I see my work as an aesthetic and emotional response to the world immediately around me.
